1. About these terms
Corvela is provided by [Company legal name], registered in [country] under number [registration number], at [address] ("Corvela", "we", "us"). By using Corvela you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
If you use Corvela for a business, you confirm you can accept these terms for it, and "you" includes that business.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Corvela, and old enough to enter a contract where you live to buy a paid plan.
- Give accurate details and keep your sign-in safe. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- Tell us straight away at security@corvela.dev if you think someone else has accessed it.
3. Using AI output
Corvela uses AI to write code, text and designs. AI can make mistakes, produce code with bugs or security problems, or create content that resembles other work.
- Review and test what Corvela builds before you publish it or rely on it, especially for payments, personal data, health, legal or financial uses.
- You're responsible for the sites and apps you publish, including complying with laws that apply to them, such as privacy and consumer law.
- Corvela is an AI. It isn't a person and doesn't give professional advice.
4. Plans, credits and payment
- Plans. We offer a free plan and paid monthly plans. Current prices and what each includes are on our pricing section.
- Credits. AI work uses credits. Before a request runs, we show an estimate; the final amount can differ slightly depending on the work.
- Monthly credits refresh at the start of each billing month. On paid plans, unused monthly credits roll over for one month, then expire. Free plan credits don't roll over.
- Extra credits you buy are valid for [12 months] from purchase.
- Payment. Paid plans renew automatically each month and are charged in advance through our payment provider, until you cancel. Prices include VAT where it applies, unless we say otherwise.
- Price changes. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before a price change affects you, and you can cancel before it does.
- Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred or sold.
5. Cancelling and refunds
- You can cancel a paid plan at any time in your account settings. You keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for, and it won't renew.
- EU and UK consumers can withdraw from a new paid plan within 14 days of buying it. If you asked us to start straight away and used credits in that time, we'll refund the part you haven't used, in proportion. To withdraw, email hello@corvela.dev.
- Apart from this and your other legal rights, payments aren't refundable.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use Corvela to build or publish anything that:
- is illegal, or helps someone break the law;
- imitates another company or person to mislead people, such as phishing or look-alike login and payment pages;
- contains malware, or attacks, probes or overloads other systems;
- sexualises minors, harasses or threatens people, or promotes violence or hatred;
- infringes someone else's copyright, trademarks or other rights;
- sends spam or collects people's data without a lawful basis.
Also don't try to get around credits or limits, access other users' data, reverse engineer Corvela, resell access to it, or use it to build a competing AI model. Corvela relies on third-party AI providers, and their usage policies also apply to what you do through Corvela.
Corvela won't build or publish look-alikes of well-known sites, such as copies of a brand's login or payment page. We may take a site offline, or suspend an account, if it breaks these rules. Seen a site that does? Report it.
7. Your content
- You own your content: what you write and upload, and the code, text and designs Corvela creates for you, as far as the law allows.
- You give us permission to host, process, copy and display your content only as needed to run Corvela for you, for example to send it to our AI provider, store your projects and publish your sites.
- Make sure you have the rights to anything you upload.
- If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
8. Published sites
When you publish a site on a corvela.dev address, it's public to anyone with the link. You're responsible for it. We may take a published site offline if it breaks these terms or the law, or if we receive a valid legal complaint. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you why.
9. Our property
Corvela, its software, design and brand belong to us or our licensors. These terms don't give you any rights to them beyond using Corvela as described here.
10. Availability and beta
We work to keep Corvela fast and available, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. Features marked as beta may change or be removed. We may update Corvela over time; if we remove something important in a paid plan, we'll tell you in advance.
11. Liability
- Corvela is provided "as is", to the extent the law allows. We don't promise that AI output will be accurate, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
- We're not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits, lost data you could have backed up, or business interruption.
- Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if that's more.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for intent, gross negligence, or death or personal injury, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Suspension and closing
You can stop using Corvela and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if we must by law, or to protect other users. If we close a paid account without good reason, we'll refund any unused prepaid amount. Before closing an account, where it's reasonable, we'll give you a chance to download your projects.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For important changes we'll tell you at least 30 days before they apply. If you don't agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of [country]. Disputes go to the courts of [city, country]. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim there.
If you have a complaint, please contact us first. We'll do our best to sort it out.
