When the AI gets it wrong

Corvela is an AI and can make mistakes. Here is what to look out for, and how to fix things.

Corvela builds your site with AI. It’s fast and usually gets things right, but like any AI it can make mistakes, so give your site a quick check before you publish it.

What to check

  • Facts about you: your business name, prices, opening hours, address, phone number and email. Corvela can’t know these, so it puts things it doesn’t know in [brackets]. Tell it the real details in the chat.
  • Links and buttons: click them in the preview and make sure they go where you expect.
  • Forms: send yourself a test message and check it arrives in your inbox.
  • Phone view: switch the preview to phone size and scroll through every page.
  • Words and spelling: read the text once, especially names and anything legal, like terms or refunds.
  • Pictures: only use photos and logos you’re allowed to use.

How to fix something

  • Just say what’s wrong: “the phone number is wrong, it’s 555 0123” or “the menu button doesn’t open on phones”.
  • Point at it: use capture to drag a box over the part that’s off.
  • Undo it: every change is saved in History, so you can go back to any earlier version.
  • Try a higher AI level for tricky changes. See AI levels.

You’re in charge of what you publish

What goes live on your site is up to you. Corvela doesn’t check your site’s facts or whether it follows the rules where you live, so check it before you publish and after big changes. More in the terms.
