Pictures, files and capture

Use your own photos, logo and documents, or point at part of your site.

Add pictures

You can add up to 6 pictures or files to a message, both when you start a project on Home and in the chat:

  • click the + button and choose Upload pictures or files (or press Ctrl+U),
  • paste a picture with Ctrl+V (⌘+V on a Mac), or
  • drag pictures from your computer onto the chat.

Then say where they should go, like “use the first photo as the big picture at the top and put the logo in the menu”. PNG, JPG, WebP and GIF work, up to 5 MB each.

Tip: A screenshot of a website you like is a great way to show the style you want.

Add files

Corvela can also read documents and use what's in them: your menu as a PDF, a price list, the text for your About page, a brief from a client.

TypeLimit
Pictures (PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF)5 MB each
PDF10 MB, up to 30 pages
Word (.docx)10 MB
Text (.txt, .md, .csv, .json, .html, .css, .js)1 MB

Then say what to do with them, like “use the prices from my menu PDF” or “put the text from my Word file on the About page”. Long files are read up to about 30,000 words. Files count toward your 100 MB of storage.

Capture an area

Click the capture button above the preview, then drag a box over part of your site. The picture of that area is added to your message, so you can say “make this bigger” or “this looks wrong on phones” without explaining where.

Remove a picture

Before sending, click the ✕ on a picture to take it out. Click the picture itself to see it bigger.
